NORTHERN RHONE
Jean-Louis Chave is one of the most revered traditional producers in Hermitage, with family winemaking roots dating back to 1481. The estate crafts Syrah from multiple hillside parcels, blending them to express the full complexity of Hermitage terroir. The wines are powerful yet restrained — black olive, smoked meat, violet, and granite minerality — built for decades of aging.
M. Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley’s largest and most influential houses, founded in 1808. Under Michel Chapoutier, the estate became a global leader in biodynamic farming and single-parcel bottlings. The wines range from approachable Côtes du Rhône to some of Hermitage’s most structured and collectible Syrahs.
Vincent Paris is a rising-star Cornas producer who established his domaine in 1997. Working with granite soils and old-vine Syrah, Paris crafts wines that balance Cornas’ muscular structure with lifted aromatics. His “Granit” cuvées are particularly known for purity and precision.

Château de Saint Cosme is Gigondas’ benchmark estate, with vineyard history dating to Roman times. Led by Louis Barruol, the domaine focuses on Grenache-driven blends from limestone soils. The wines are powerful yet aromatic, often rivaling Châteauneuf in depth.
Château Font du Loup is a Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate founded in the 1940s. Located on sandy soils rather than galets, the wines show more finesse and aromatic lift than heavier southern bottlings. It’s a useful stylistic contrast within the appellation.
Domaine de Saje is a family-run Châteauneuf-du-Pape producer crafting traditional Grenache-based blends. The wines show ripe red fruit, spice, and warm Mediterranean herbs. They emphasize classic southern richness with accessible pricing.
Domaine du Vieux Lazaret dates to the 18th century and is one of Châteauneuf’s larger historic estates. The winery produces both red and white blends from traditional Rhône varieties. The wines balance scale with typicity — offering spice, red fruit, and garrigue complexity.
Arnoux & Fils is based in Vacqueyras, producing Grenache-dominant blends shaped by warm southern terroir. The wines are generous, spicy, and fruit-driven. Vacqueyras often offers Châteauneuf character at a lower price tier.
